Incheon Airport Transit Tour 2026: Free Registration, Desks, and Eligibility

Bottom line: If you have more than four hours before your connecting flight at Incheon Airport, don't just sit at the gate — sign up for the free Transit Tour instead. The bus and professional guide cost nothing; you only pay for your own admission fees or meals along the way.
If you didn't know: if you don't reach the registration desk 30 minutes before the tour starts, your spot goes to someone on the waitlist. If your layover runs longer than 24 hours, you can't apply for this tour at all, and plenty of travelers who don't realize that end up killing a long layover in an airport chair instead. Even visa-free nationals need a K-ETA to join if they aren't covered by the current K-ETA exemption, so check that before you arrive or you may be turned away at same-day registration.
How to apply Book online, or register on-site on a first-come basis on arrival (passport and boarding pass required) · Registration desks Terminal 1: 1st floor, past immigration, desks 19-20 near Gates 1-2; Terminal 2: 1st floor, past immigration, desks 5-6 across from Gate 4 · Arrival deadline 30 minutes before the tour starts · Eligibility 4-24 hour layover, and one of: visa-free national, third-country transit passenger, or general transit passenger · Inquiries Terminal 1: +82-32-741-3139, Terminal 2: +82-32-741-0060.
Passengers who first arrive at the Concourse need to take the underground shuttle train to the main terminal before finding the registration desk. Even online bookers must complete registration 30 minutes before the tour starts, after which open seats go to people on the waitlist in order. Justice Ministry rules also note that you can't repeat the transit tour on the same trip, since that would effectively grant two entries from one visit. Instead of killing a short layover drifting between airport lounges, you can take a bus out to see downtown Seoul or sights near the airport and make it back in time.
