Bottom line: Sorae Wetland Eco Park in Incheon is free to enter and reachable from Seoul on a single subway line, the Suin-Bundang Line, with no transfer. But the park's exhibition hall closes entirely on Mondays, and even on other days it stops letting people in at 5:30 p.m. (5:00 p.m. in winter).

If you didn't know: Show up on a Monday, and the exhibition hall — the old salt-storage building and the ecology exhibits inside it — is closed for the day, full stop. Arrive too late on any other day and you hit the same wall: last entry is 5:30 p.m. year-round, moved up to 5:00 p.m. in winter. Miss that window and all you get is the outdoor reed-field trail, not what's inside.

How we checked this

Incheon Metropolitan City's official page on Sorae Wetland Eco Park states the exhibition hall's hours as 10:00-18:00 year-round (last entry 17:30), 10:00-17:30 in winter (last entry 17:00), free admission, and closure every Monday plus the day after a public holiday, Jan 1, and Lunar New Year/Chuseok. It names Soraepogu Station (Suin Line) as the transit access point and requires advance reservation for group visits; inquiries go to 032-435-7076. The roughly 19-minute walk from the station to the entrance isn't in the official page — it comes from visitor accounts, so confirm it on a map app before you go. This article skips mentions of a "jjangttungeo bridge" or seawater foot bath sometimes listed for the park, since their current operating status wasn't confirmed in any recent official source. Checked against Incheon Metropolitan City's official Sorae Wetland Eco Park page on 2026-11-05.
