Eighteen was correct as of 1 December 2025, but eligibility expanded to 42 countries and regions on 16 March 2026. The article stood uncorrected for seven months and stated that travelers from outside those 18 "cannot register for SES at all." Readers may have joined the staffed queue believing they were ineligible. The country list and registration locations are corrected and the Ministry of Justice notice is now linked.

The article told readers to wait for a Weverse announcement. The venue was later confirmed as KSPO DOME and all three dates sold out in general sale. This is heavier than inventing a name: it attributed work to identifiable people who did not do it. We scanned all 421 published articles, found the 21, and replaced the bylines with "Korea Tourism Times Editorial Desk." No personal bylines remain.
