Buy a one-day pass at Everland's main gate ticket window and you'll pay 68,000 won. But if the foreign tourist standing right next to you walks in with nothing but a QR code pulled up on their phone, it's worth knowing why: buying a foreigner-only discount ticket online in advance gets the same one-day pass for less.

At a glance: Foreigner-only online one-day pass, 51,000 won for September-October (a 17,000-won discount off the 68,000-won gate price) · Drops further to 44,200 won in November-December · Sold through Everland's official partner platforms (such as Seoul PASS); passport required at entry · Confirmation usually arrives within 24 hours of purchase · Children under 35 months enter free with a passport

This discount isn't available to Korean nationals — it requires verified foreign-visitor status. After purchase, just show the QR code from the mobile voucher to staff at the main gate; there's no need to print a separate paper ticket. The reason for the price gap is simple: the gate price is the same regardless of nationality, but the foreigner-only channel is a discount product meant to draw more international visitors.

17,000 won is roughly the price of a couple of snacks inside the park. If your travel dates are already set, booking in advance on an official partner site for your specific date is clearly better value than paying full price at the gate. That said, the discount rate changes by season, so it's safest to double-check the exact price for your visit date right before buying.
