Culture Ministry opens tourism and gugak data to AI — AI travel guides are coming

Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is opening five sets of cultural data — traditional music, tourism, policy information and more — for AI training for the first time, to be used in AI travel guidance and policy search services.

For foreign travelers the meaning is clear: the more AI learns about Korean tourism, the smaller the information gap beyond the language barrier becomes.

Getting information from AI and completing the journey with people — that current is now accelerating at the policy level.
