Nonstop From New York to Korea: United Airlines Launches Incheon-Newark Route
United Airlines launched a new direct route between Incheon International Airport and Newark (serving the New York area) on Sept. 5. The Boeing 787-9 flies once daily, making it the only nonstop link between Incheon and the New York area operated by a U.S. carrier.
Travelers from the U.S. East Coast previously often had to connect through the West Coast or other cities to reach Korea; this new route adds a direct option that cuts travel time.
If you're planning a trip from the New York area, it's worth comparing total travel time and cost against connecting flights before booking.
