Bottom line: The early-bird tickets for the Nov 7 (Sat) Busan Fireworks Festival at Gwangalli are gone. The only seats you can buy right now on NOL (Interpark's official vendor) are R-grade (table + chairs) at 100,000 won and S-grade (chair only) at 70,000 won.

If you didn't know: If you're still going by the early-bird S-seat price of 56,000 won that circulated a month ago, that price no longer exists. Buying an S-seat today costs 14,000 won more, and if S-seats sell out and you have to take an R-seat, that's 44,000 won more. Sales close Nov 6 at 17:00, and if you don't reach your seat by 18:00 on the day, you can't enter and you can't get a refund.

How we checked this

NOL's official sales page lists only two ticket grades — R-seat (table+chairs) at 100,000 won and S-seat (chair only) at 70,000 won — and no longer shows the 56,000-won early-bird S-seat advertised earlier, because that one-day early-bird window (Aug 26, 2026) has closed. Per the festival's official site (busanfireworks.com/reservation), regular sales run Sept 4 through Nov 6 at 17:00, alongside separate BNK Busan Bank online and in-branch sales. The NOL page states that arriving after 18:00 means no entry and no refund. Cancellation fees up to 10 days out are 2,000 won (capped at 10% of the ticket price), rising to as much as 30% close to the event. The official site does not state whether there is a free public viewing area — that is unconfirmed, so don't assume one exists. A Seoul-based day trip to Gwangan Station by KTX takes about 2.5 hours each way; per a train-schedule aggregator site, the last weekday KTX from Busan Station to Seoul departs at 22:10. Getting from Gwangalli to Busan Station by subway after the fireworks end at 20:00 takes roughly 30–40 minutes with a transfer, so it's tight but doable — Saturday schedules can differ from weekdays, so check Korail's official site before you travel. This was checked on the NOL (nol.yanolja.com) live sales page and the busanfireworks.com booking page on 2026-11-02.

Next event: No confirmed date for Busan's next major festival after this one appears in today's official sources.
