Han River Drone Light Show 2026: Last Date October 31, Free Entry, How to Get to Ttukseom

Bottom line: On the night of Halloween, Saturday, October 31, Ttukseom Hangang Park hosts this year's last drone light show. It's free and open to anyone who shows up — no reservation needed. Get off at Ttukseom Resort Station (Line 2) and follow the walkway toward the river park; it's about a 5-minute walk to the lawn where the drones fly.
If you didn't know: This year's drone light show ran only three times — September 12, October 9, and October 31. If you miss this one thinking you'll catch the next one, the next chance is at least 10 months away, whenever Seoul announces its 2027 second-half schedule. As of October 29, 2026, when this article was written, the city had not posted the exact start time on its official channels — arrive late without checking and the drones may already be down. Check the Hangang Park website or official Instagram that afternoon for the confirmed start time. The show can also be canceled or postponed for rain or strong wind, so check on the day.
Saturday, October 31, 2026 · Ttukseom Hangang Park (2273 Gangbyeonbuk-ro, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul) · Free, no reservation, open participation · Get off at Ttukseom Resort Station (Line 2), about a 5-minute walk toward the river park · May be canceled or postponed for rain or strong wind · Exact start time to be confirmed on official channels on the day · Inquiries: Seoul Tourism Policy Division, +82-2-2133-2797.
The drone light show is a free outdoor performance the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Hangang River Project Headquarters runs each spring and fall at Ttukseom and Yeouido Hangang parks. Hundreds of drones rise together into the dark sky over the river to form images and messages, with a new theme for each show. September's first show this year was themed around Korean pro baseball teams LG, Doosan and Kiwoom, and shows in past years that tied in with popular animated films drew large crowds. As of this writing, Seoul had not revealed the theme for the October 31 finale. People spread out mats on the lawn to wait, and across the river the lit-up Lotte World Tower in Jamsil shares the night sky with the drones' shapes. Because the date falls on Halloween night, costumed families are likely to turn up too, though there's no official Halloween tie-in program.
Next event: The next major Hangang event is "Hangang Festival_Winter." Seoul has confirmed only the dates — Saturday, December 19 through Sunday, December 27, 2026 — around Yeouido Hangang Park; the detailed program will be announced later.
