Live the Hallyu Life for 5 Days in Busan: Korea's First Residential K-Culture Program Debuts

A new kind of Hallyu experience is debuting in Busan - one where you stay and live it, rather than just watch and leave. According to Korea Travel Times, K-Bridge International will pilot 'KEV (K-Culture Experience Village),' a 4-night, 5-day immersive residential Hallyu program for foreigners living in Korea and abroad, three times in October and November. Sessions run October 19-23, November 9-13 and November 16-20, hosting 40 participants each for a total of 120.

Participants take Korean conversation classes and K-culture lectures, try K-cooking, K-beauty and K-pop dance, join a local culture tour around Busan's Yeongdo district, and network with local young residents - all in one itinerary. Accommodation is at Arpina in Busan. The organizer also plans to expand the program to other regions such as Gyeongju, Andong and Jinju after the pilot. For travelers who want to go one step beyond concerts and sightseeing and actually live Korea's everyday life, this is one to watch.
