Gyeongju will hold its "National Heritage Night Walk" for three days, September 18-20, around Woljeonggyo Bridge, Gyerim Forest, Gyochon Village, and the old town wall. Organized jointly by the Korea Heritage Service, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and Gyeongju City, admission is free (only some hands-on programs charge a fee). The event spans eight themed categories of night viewing, storytelling, and tradit

ional culture experiences, including a drone light show, set among the city's heritage sites after dark. Gyeongju is just over two hours from Seoul by KTX. Because the heritage sites stay open later than usual during the event, visitors get more flexibility to spread out their daytime sightseeing. Some of the eight program categories require advance reservations or have capacity limits, so checki

ng the official website or Instagram (@gjnighttrip) for the day's exact schedule before visiting is worthwhile. Korea Tourism Times Editorial Desk
