Bottom line: November 6 is day two of the 2026 Jeju Olle Walking Festival. Online pre-registration closed on October 9, but you can still sign up on site at Dongbok-ri Sports Park. Today's route runs about 11.5km from Dongbok-ri Sports Park along Olle Routes 19 and 20 to the Jeju Batdam Theme Park.

If you didn't know: Walk-in registration costs 35,000 won, not the 30,000 won pre-registration fee — 5,000 won more. Shuttle buses and lunch vouchers are sold only in advance through the official "Olle Pass" app, so walk-in participants have to arrange their own transport from their hotel or the airport to Jocheon and bring their own lunch.

The Jeju Olle Walking Festival has foreign and domestic walkers cover the same stretch of trail together over three days, and 2026 is the last year it runs this way — organizers have announced a "Season 2" format for next year, spreading the walk across 25 days and 23 routes. Non-Korean visitors can register through the Olle Pass app on the same terms as Korean residents, and walk-in sign-up does not require Korean citizenship; bringing your passport makes on-site registration faster.

The route follows Jeju's black basalt "batdam" field walls and coastal paths. On a normal day you just follow the orange-and-blue ribbon markers that mark the Jeju Olle trail, but during the festival extra volunteers and signage are posted along the course, so getting lost is less likely than on an ordinary day.

How we checked this

The pre-registration deadline, the 5,000-won gap between the advance and walk-in fees, and the app-only shuttle/lunch-voucher sales were confirmed from fnnews.com and travel-trade coverage checked on the 2026-11-06 report screens. The festival's official site (contents.ollepass.org) was reachable but did not show a same-day start-time schedule, so confirm the exact assembly time with on-site staff.
