Hanji Crafting While You Wait for Your Flight — Free Traditional Culture Experiences Inside Incheon Airport

Incheon International Airport's Terminal 1 (6:30 a.m.-9 p.m.) and Terminal 2/concourse (7 a.m.-9 p.m.) each host a Korean Traditional Culture Center run by the Korea Heritage Promotion Foundation. Visitors can try hanji (traditional paper) crafts, dancheong (traditional coloring), mother-of-pearl inlay, folk painting, and hanbok wear — all free, walk-in, no reservation needed.

It's a good way to use layover time or the wait before boarding. Folding and dyeing hanji by hand leaves a faint scent of paper and pigment, and whatever you make is yours to keep as a souvenir. Exact activities and hours can vary by the day, so check the center's location once you're in the terminal to avoid a wasted trip.
